Context

TalkShopLive was an early-stage livestream shopping startup with a promising beta product — but no defined brand identity or polished user experience. The founders needed creative direction to bridge the gap between vision and execution, and to prepare the platform for launch.

My Role

Brought in as a hybrid Creative Director and Product Consultant, I worked directly with the co-founders and an external development firm to evolve the brand and product from beta to version 1.0.

• Shaped TalkShopLive’s desktop and mobile UX with a focus on usability and brand clarity

• Led creative direction across identity, product UI, and launch marketing

• Acted as translator between non-technical founders and development team, ensuring design and product intent were understood and implemented

Process

The process was lean and iterative, focused on translating founder vision into actionable product flows and a recognizable brand expression.

• Identified friction points in beta and prioritized improvements based on usability impact

• Introduced a design system to bring consistency across desktop and mobile

• Built wireframes and visual mockups for key flows: livestream hosting, shopping cart, and post-event playback

• Partnered with founders and devs daily to refine features and streamline communication

Outcomes

Launched version 1.0 of the TalkShopLive platform

• Created a cohesive brand and product experience from a fragmented beta

• Established a clear UX foundation that scaled as the platform gained momentum

• Helped founders bridge technical gaps with actionable creative solutions
